Ilya Averbukh had long the idea of creating a musical on ice, which could appreciate not only the fans of figure skating, but a theatrical environment.
«After a TV project, in May, we have come a time when the tour ended in Russia, the project did not seem to be ... at the moment Ilya said that here and it's time to realize the idea,» - project director for «Ice Symphony» Catherine Tsanava.

Started to create the sets and writing the story, write original songs, rehearsal rooms and much more.

In the end, «Big City Lights» received only one in Russia, and possibly the world Ice musical, which involved seven Olympic champions and 11 world champions in figure skating. Total is involved in the production of more than 60 participants: this figure skaters and ballet dancers and circus.
